What do I need to do to be able to work in the UK?
In short, you need to become a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons; you need to arrange professional indemnity insurance (or confirm the practice you are going to work at has an insurance policy that will cover you); you need to inform the UK Government of your arrival and you will need a National Insurance (NI) number. You will probably also want to open a UK bank account.
